Dolphin Closed Team Tournament

- Tournament open to Dolphin Team, Box League, and social players only

- This will be a social event, for players of all standards at the dolphin to enter for a bit of fun!

- Saturday 2^nd December – all day event (timings TBC when numbers known. Likely 11am-5pm)

- Tournament format as follows:

o Players will be broken down into tiers based on their ability

o Each team shall be made up of one player from each tier

o Teams will be randomly drawn from a hat at the start of the tournament

o Format for the day is dependent upon number of entries, however will likely be group stages followed by a play off for final positions

o All games will be PAR scoring to 11, best of three games. SUDDEN DEATH at 10-10 (i.e next point wins!)

o The aim is for everyone to get a minimum of three games – again dependent on entries

- Where there is significant difference in ability within a pool, handicaps may be used at the tournament directors discretion to balance games

- Cost of entry is free for Dolphin Members, and £2 for non-members to cover court use (payable on the day)

- We’re hoping to organise a get together afterwards for a few drinks – please indicate if you (and partners welcome too!) would be interested in coming along so this can be arranged.
